the Slope
Alternative Apparel cardigan, Dan's (roommate) H&M button down, H&M leggings, vintage men's Florsheim boots, vintage belt, Loomstate denim bag.
My other, Kiley, started working for a great non-profit vintage/thrift/consignment store called Life Emporium in Park Slope and it is filled with some pretty amazing pieces, new and old. Vintage Prada sweaters, 90's slinky Yigal Azruoul dresses and so much more. I was entirely too tempted to buy some vintage trunks they had in the basement but alas, space comes between us. Check it out if you're in the neighborhood and in need of some new digs!

Bootsy
So although the weather still straddles the lame border Spring is indeed just around the bend. That being said, that never stops me from looking/purchasing boots and such that in turn will rock the hell out of come spring and summer. I am a lady who loves a good boot. I found these cowhide Franco Sarto bootsies on Ebay and I can honestly say I love. It sort of has an dowtown Annie Hall feel.

tr0llin'
Valentine's Day came and went and my bestie and I couldn't have been happier than spending the day together in the warm sun + amazing temperature. We headed to Union Square to buy cute and sexy undergarments, look at make up and eat some very cheap and tasty sushi.
It's all about the girl love.

Hi, it's me...really it is. I know I know, I've been a lazy and horrible parent but honestly, my tumblr is more aesthetically pleasing than you are. It cares about my needs. But regardless, I can't go off and abondon you like this so I thought I would give you a little sugar.
I'm a creep. :D
So I did some serious ME shopping sort of. My iphone 3g is so cracked and slow that I almost threw it into the escalator shredder as I was getting on the train. So I went to Staten Island (vom) and met up with this craiglist fellow and purchased the 3gs with yet again cracking, but very light.
But before I could finish said transaction I stopped into JCPenney to whizz and saw a delightful sale on liter sized shampoo and conditioner. And the good stuff. So I dropped some bills on that and as I was exciting I saw the Clinique beauty stand glowing from the corner of my eye. So I dropped more on their Acne Solutions 3-in-1. I remember as a kid that stuff really helped out my acne and now my skin has been looking really shifty.

Bay Area BUTCHER.
Ah, San Francisco, city on the bay, apple of my eye, instigator of empty wallets...how I missed thee.I am here soaking in the clouds, fog and just all around mini escape from New York. Not like there's anything drastically wrong or terrible about Nyc but it's definitely nice to get out when one can.
I'm staying in Soma, right across the street from Tenderloin. I spent most of yesterday sick in bed, went to a bar called Knoc-Knoc which resembled a cave Keith Haring might or would have liked to get stuck in. That ended quickly but was followed with many episodes of Dexter.
Determined to beat my nasty little head cold I set off for the Mission District today in search of ALL THINGS THRIFT. Goodwill sucked some pretty deep balls. Spent a good amount of time there just trying to sell myself on pieces that were pretty flat. So I moved on to Thrift Town, Buffalo Exchange and some really kooky vintage shop that FINALLY has the hat I'd been searching so long for and not having to pay $50 bones for. The rain started to spatter so I made my way into a fantastic joint called The Crepe House where I very gladly indulged in a nutella, strawberry ice cream crepe sent all the way from heaven.
Tomorrow is definitely round 2 of thriftscapade but this time on Haight-Ashbury. Hide your goods, Cali. I'm here to loot.
