But I did discover the new Massive Attack album 'Heligoland' which is absolutely entrancing. It's been on repeat for hours. Soaked with collaborations from Mazzy Star's Hope Sandoval, Damon Albarn (Blur), Tunde Adebimpe (TVOTR), Horace Andy, etc...

Just like everyone in the blog universe, I finally got my Sam Edelman Zoe boots. Well, got them 2 weeks ago, but still they are in my posesh. Aside from being 6'2.5 they are remarkably easy to walk in and comfortable as well. Cheers!

My American Apparel velvet dress arrived today and to much of my roommate's exclamations, I put it on for a test drive and boy was the drive fast. ;)
It's interesting because I never wear red...I always feel so washed out and green but this shade of burgandy-eque wine color is rather delicious.

Dries Van Noten Pre-Fall 2010

My favorite from Dries pre-fall. I need more prints in my life. I feel like these have just the right amount of over-the-topness to them without getting to tacky/schreechy, which is what Signore Dries Van Noten does best. All for me please.

What I wore a couple days ago...
Haven't really been able to do much in terms of posting my daily outfits because a)I've been hellaciously sick with a vile respiratory infection right after bronchitis, b) I don't have a functioning camera and c)I don't go out/party because I work very muchly. Soon though. I'm looking into getting a schuper schweet dslr.

Proenza Schouler Pre-Fall 2010

Let me start off by saying that I have always loved Proenza however the whole tie dyeness that was going on last season was a bit of a disaster for my eyes. I was glad they were moving in a different direction but this collection is what I expected from their spring. Not only are the materials perfectly used but the whole silhoutte is astounding, giving school girls around the world a run for their money.

If I could I would wear every single one of these looks. (PS..these are my favorite ones).

2010 . Pretty strange yet exciting looking numbers together. I hope everyone had a bangin' New Years Eve and had a blast. I was one of the few stuck working all night and the next so....momma's gonna celebrate another time (perhaps when I am vacationing in Spain?)
